  LFA Architects, established in 1987, specializes in creative design solutions and construction management for commercial and residential projects.
Longterm associations with engineers and other professionals add another level of expertise which is applied to solving the spatial problems that businesses and individuals face.
Years of experience and an understanding of the intricacies of city agencies allow LFA Architects to provide speedy filing and permits.

Building code consulting and zoning reports are offered to clients, as are planning studies for businesses contemplating a move. Ms. Funk is an active participant in the architecture and downtown arts communities, including the campaign to designate the Gansevoort Market as an historic district. She contributes architectural services to Public School 87 on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, and is a member of Landmarks West! and the Society for Industrial Archeology.

Funk, a member of the American Institute of Architects, received her Bachelor of Architecture degree at the University of Kentucky (1980) and Certificates in Construction Management (1985) and Real Estate Development (1989) at New York University. Funk holds a New York State license to practice architecture and is also NCARB-certified.
